When BLANCO was founded by Heinrich Blanc, way back in 1925, our focus was clear: it was quite simply to be “the best”.
The company has established worldwide acclaim for its unswerving commitment to producing innovative but functional products of the highest quality, and to supporting our products with second-to-none service. This commitment remains the cornerstone of our policy.
At the heart of our philosophy is also concern for the environment and, many years ago, BLANCO set up a department devoted to the development of environmentally-friendly products and production processes.
Initially dedicated to producing products in premium-quality stainless steel, we have since developed various other quality materials, notably the introduction of colour with our SILGRANIT® PuraDur® II composite sink material, and now colour with fine fireclay ceramics.
Today Blanco supply over 120 countries from their Head Office in Germany, the range is constantly updated in response to changing times and needs, and many products have won prestigious international design awards over the years.
SILGRANIT® PuraDur® II is unsurpassed for its ease of care and durability, hygienic qualities and extensive colour range.
It has a tactile, silky-smooth surface that looks like natural stone, and it is exceptionally easy to clean, since it repels water, preventing the build up of surface deposits and limescale. It is stain-resistant (even metal marks from pots and pans are easily removed). It is 100% scratch resistant, heat-resistant up to 280°C, 100% safe for food preparation and the colours (100% resistant to fading) offer a host of opportunities to complement your kitchen colour theme.
Developed and patented by BLANCO Germany, with seven patents ensuring and protecting its unique qualities, it is the coloured sink material for now and for the future.
When you choose a BLANCO sink in stainless steel, you will know that it is manufactured using premium quality 18/10 material.
Stainless steel requires minimum care. Whether you decide on a polished or a linen finish, your sink will have a very high resistance to heat and to staining, and its smooth, non-porous surface makes it totally practical and hygienic.
Browsing through our extensive range, you will find that quality stainless steel looks equally good in a traditional, modern or very high-tech setting, since it is a completely versatile material which lends itself to innovative design.
In this diverse range, pull-out spray taps make life easier, water-saving filter taps make life greener, coloured taps co-ordinate with our SILGRANIT® sinks; a safety-feature tap has water which changes colour from cold to medium to hot as it flows – and a new generation of space-saving taps retract into the sink or worktop.
